Khai is a single parent to three incredible children, and a huge advocate for disabilities, children's rights, and mental health in the OKC/metro. They are struggling to make ends meet after their car broke down for a couple of weeks and needs assistance to maintain housing and a vehicle.

🚨 ALL WE'VE EVER HAD IS EACH OTHER.

⛈ī¸ Across Oklahoma, many and folks continue to struggle to get our basic needs met.

💰 We have been hard at work raising funds for another run of this program, and will be ready to give EVERY PENNY away... but only if we can get more volunteers to help run it. Volunteers on the program panel meeting for about 30 minutes each week to review applications and help facilitate giving assistance.

đŸĢ‚ Last semester, we had almost SEVENTY applications and we were able to provide financial assistance to 22 of them, and assistance with finding other resources to almost 80%.

đŸ“ĸ Community is not a spectator sport. We need solidarity and mutual aid from the grassroots community, not platitudes and performative gestures from large institutions.
