🔛 Aerospace Week has commenced in Oklahoma, with a range of stakeholders statewide convening to recognize the aerospace and defense industry. This initiative is designed to underscore innovation, workforce development, and the advanced technologies that are shaping the future of flight, space, and national defense in the state.

☕ Today, the Oklahoma Workforce Commission initiated the week's events by attending "Pathways and Pastries" with Rose State College, which prominently features their AI STEM simulator laboratory.

🛫 Throughout the week, several significant events are scheduled, including AERO Oklahoma: Aviation, Aerospace & Defense Awareness Day at the State Capitol on April 1, organized by the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics.

The Oklahoma Workforce Commission joined the IMPACT meeting, hosted by the OKDRS Business Services Program in partnership with the Manufacturing Skills Academy. This meeting was all about exploring the resounding benefits and returns of hiring individuals with disabilities in the workforce. They highlighted how manufacturers and other businesses can strengthen their talent pool by tapping into the talents of these invaluable Oklahomans.
