Steps for Tomorrow will host its 2nd Annual Su***de Prevention Gathering on September 26, 2026, at the Oklahoma National Guard Museum in Oklahoma City. This community-wide event brings Service Members, Veterans, families, and supporters together for a full day dedicated to connection, remembrance, resilience, and hope. The gathering includes the Steps for Tomorrow 5K Run/Walk, the Ride for Tomorrow motorcycle charity ride, the Steps Towards Resources Mental Health Resource Fair, the Steps Together Family Day, and a silent auction. Each activity creates an opportunity for people to connect with supportive organizations, learn about available mental-health resources, honor those we have lost, and show those who may be struggling that they do not have to walk alone. We hold this event in September because it is Su***de Prevention Month—a time to raise awareness, encourage honest conversations about mental health, and remind people that reaching out for help is a sign of strength. Our mission is especially focused on combating su***de among Service Members and Veterans, but this gathering is open to the entire community. We believe prevention begins with connection, and by coming together on September 26, we can turn awareness into action, resources into support, and every step into hope. Every Step Matters—because no one should face their struggles alone.
