🐾🔋 Trooper Dog Thursday – Test the Alarms

🐾🌼 Hi friends, it’s Trooper Dog! I’ve got somethin’ important to bark about today… smoke alarms and CO detectors! 🔥🔋

Now listen… I tried to test mine by barking at them. Turns out that’s not how they work. Who knew? 😅🐶

I don’t really like those alarms because they’re LOUD — super loud — “run‑to-the-yard” loud. That ole Emergency Manager says they keep my family safe, so when she tests them, I get to go outside and supervise from the backyard. 🌱🐾

Just a few reminders from yours truly:
🔸 Test your alarms regularly
🔸 Change the batteries when the time changes
🔸 Make sure they will work when you need them most

Safety isn’t always fun, and sometimes it loud… but it is important.

As this band of showers continues to move through our area, we’ll see on‑and‑off rain throughout the evening. What’s interesting tonight is the direction — instead of our usual E/NE/SE flow, this system is pushing in from the SW, so what you’re seeing down in LeFlore County is rolling our way.

Right now, we’re still not seeing anything concerning in this band. No severe indicators, no red flags — just steady rain and occasional heavier pockets. We’ll keep monitoring it closely and update you if anything changes.

Hey Haskell County friends — keep those umbrellas handy because we’re in for a soggy stretch. While Tuesday brings only a few scattered showers, rain chances ramp up on Wednesday and look to hang around through the weekend.

Right now we’re not seeing indicators of severe weather, but we’ll keep an eye on projections and the skies. Stay weather-aware and enjoy the cooler temps where you can!

We’re expecting another beautiful day here in Haskell County — just enough sunshine to hopefully dry out those soggy yards so we can all get a little mowing done before rain chances increase mid‑week. 🌤️🌱🚜

🚗🎶 CRUISE NIGHT UPDATE! 🎶🚗

Hey guys — there’s still plenty of fun happening downtown at Stigler’s Cruise Night! 🎉 Mitch Dobbs is spinning a great playlist, the weather is great, and there are lots of cars still rolling through. 😎🔥

A huge thank‑you to our Stigler PD 👮‍♂️💙 for keeping everyone safe, our Deputies for their strong presence and support 🚓, and our local fire departments for always showing up for the community with outreach and heart. 🚒❤️

If I didn’t get a chance to visit with you tonight, please catch me — and maybe even that wylie Trooper Dog 🐾 — at the next event. We’ll be out and about, ready for waves, chats, and ear scratches.
