🌟🏛️ Busy Day at the Courthouse!

It has been a busy day here at the courthouse! The Haskell County Sheriff's Office and a hardworking team of trustees took care of the courthouse lawn, helped us and the City of Stigler begin preparing for the 59th Annual Reunion Days organized by the Stigler- Haskell Co. Oklahoma Chamber Of Commerce, and pitched in on projects around the building. We appreciate them! 🙌🌿🚓

Just a quick reminder — the courthouse offices will be open on Friday, June 19th during Reunion Days. 🎉🏛️

We are looking forward to seeing members of the community out at this great community celebration! 🌟🤝

It is funny how 75° in June feels completely different than it does in January — Oklahoma keeps us guessing in every season. We are looking at a cooler stretch today and over the next few days, and here is what we are seeing today:

Today: High near 79° | Chance of rain and thunderstorms | Mostly cloudy skies sticking around

Tonight: Low around 63° | Chance of showers after 1AM | Clouds hanging in overnight

🌧️ Overnight Soaker Rolling Through 🌧️

We are likely to be sitting in this steady soaker for the next couple of hours. Radar is not showing anything severe — just occasional bursts of heavier rain mixed into the steady stretch.

As you’re getting out in the morning, take it slow and be mindful of standing water, especially in low‑lying spots. With the ground already saturated, runoff is taking a little longer than usual to drain away.

We will keep an eye on this as it continues to push through our area and update you with any changes.

🌪️ Oklahoma Weather Doing Oklahoma Things 🌪️

In true wild‑wild Oklahoma fashion, the weather never disappoints. That northern cell has started dipping more southeast instead of continuing straight east. Timing-wise, it’s looking like we may see that one roll into our area around the 2AM hour.

Meanwhile, the western cell has practically tied the knot with the northern one — the two are blended so tightly on radar you can barely tell where one ends and the other begins.

We are keeping eyes on everything out there on the radar, and we’ll update you as this band continues moving closer to our area.
