It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the loss and celebrate the life of our dear friend and colleague, Carla Tinkham.

Our hallways will feel a little different without her. Her classroom will be quieter, and her absence will be felt in ways we cannot yet put into words.

To Carla's family, we extend our deepest love and sympathy. Thank you for sharing someone so special with us for so many years.

Carla, you will always be a cherished part of our Dunbar family. You were deeply loved, and you will be dearly missed.

History isn’t just about memorizing dates—it’s about investigating the truth! 🕵️‍♂️📜

Our 8th graders turned into historical detectives today, analyzing real primary sources from the Boston Massacre! By comparing accounts from the Boston Gazette, the London Times, and actual trial notes, students got out of their seats to weigh the pros, cons, rights, and wrongs of both the Colonists and the British soldiers. Just ended one weekend and it’s time to already start thinking about the next one!

Make plans to join Dunbar TSA at their first Bingo Night Fundraiser!

Join us Saturday, October 10th at a “NEW” time, doors will open at 5:00 pm and Bingo will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

This family friendly event will take place in the Dunbar School Cafeteria. A $5 Hot Dog Dinner will be served as well as a concession stand with other snacks and drinks.

Tickets purchased in advance will give you 2 Bingo Cards! Tickets at the door will give you one Bingo Card. Additional cards can be purchased for $5/each to increase your chances of winning.

We’ve got a variety of prizes for the Bingo winners!

This fundraiser will help support the Dunbar TSA students and their travel expenses for State and hopefully National competitions.

Tickets can be purchased from any Dunbar TSA student, or Mrs. Norton, the Dunbar TSA Advisor.
