As we wrap up the last full day of school, these past two days have been such a beautiful reminder of everything our students have accomplished this year. ❤️🖤
Yesterday’s Awards Ceremony recognized so many students for their academic achievements, growth, state testing accomplishments, and the clubs and activities they committed themselves to throughout the year. The hard work, determination, and dedication these students have shown — especially our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders during state testing season — was truly something to celebrate.
Then today’s Talent Show brought an entirely different kind of achievement to the stage… courage.
The amount of bravery it takes to stand in front of an entire school full of peers and perform is incredible. Whether it was singing, dancing, comedy, instruments, karate, basketball tricks, or performing in another language, every single student who stepped onto that stage should be unbelievably proud of themselves.
From 5th grade band members practicing together on their own time, to talented piano players, beautiful voices singing in both English and Spanish, dancers staying perfectly on beat, students breaking boards in karate, showing off athletic skills, and even making an entire crowd laugh as comedians — the talent, practice, dedication, and heart behind every performance was amazing to witness.
But what may have been even more special was watching the support in the room. The cheering from peers. The encouragement from families. The smiles from teachers and staff. Students lifting each other up and celebrating one another is what makes Black Bob so special.
As this school year comes to a close and summer begins, it’s moments like these that remind us how much growth happens in one school year — academically, emotionally, socially, and personally.
We are so proud of every student who worked hard, took risks, tried something new, supported a friend, joined a club, practiced a talent, studied for a test, or simply kept showing up and growing every single day.
What an amazing way to end the year. ❤️🖤
