Olathe Public Library Olathe Public Library Sweet Tee's Coffee Shop has locations inside both libraries. Olathe Public Library Cards and Johnson County Library Cards accepted.

The Olathe Indian Creek Library features a Makerspace, AV recording studio, Friends Bookstore, study rooms, event space, children's reading garden and park with a walking trail and accessible playground. The Olathe Public Library page exists to provide citizens and stakeholders with information about City of Olathe programs and services. Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to share viewpoints and perspectives, and engage in dialogue with one another. However, the Olathe Library page will not feature:

Get ready to camp out with a good book!

The Friends Bookstore at the Indian Creek Library has turned reading into a camping adventure. Kids can pick out special "Camp Out with a Good Book" chapter books. Books are wrapped with stickers, goodies, and clues to help young readers guess what story awaits inside.

And the best part? Each "Camp Out with a Good Book" book is just $2 while supplies last.

Clear out your craft stash or find something new at our Swap Your Stuff Craft Edition!

Drop off gently used items (yarn, paper crafts, sewing supplies & more) May 4–8 at Indian Creek Library. Donors get early bird access (9–10 AM) to shop on Saturday, May 9, and everyone else can shop from 10 AM–2 PM.

Drop-off times:
• Mon, May 4: 2–5 PM
• Tue, May 5: 10 AM–1 PM
• Wed, May 6: 5–8 PM
• Fri, May 8: 10 AM–1 PM

The Find Your Joy Challenge starts this Friday, April 17! Sign up on Beanstack & check out all of the ways you can earn stickers at the library from April 17-25:

Perfect Blend: Visit one of the cafes at the library and order a drink or snack. Or you could meet a friend for coffee, or reserve a study room to earn a sticker.

Game On: Check out a video game, play a game in the Teen Zone, play a game on a computer, or use the PACs to earn a sticker. Then log your activity to earn a sticker.

Curl Up with a New Story: Check out a book, DVD, audiobook, ebook, or eaudiobook during National Library Week, April 17 to April 25, and earn a sticker.

Furever Reading: Visit either Olathe Public Library location during National Library Week, April 17 to April 25, and receive a sticker.

Find Your Joy!: Make a reservation in the Makerspace, attend a program, read a newspaper or magazine at the library, use one of the many online resources the library has, or tell a library staff member what brings you joy at the library. Log the activity and earn a sticker.
