Nearly 11,000 miles. 17 countries. Nine and a half months on the road.

Today at the Kansas City Unity Cup presented by Capitol Federal and hosted by JCPRD in partnership with the Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City, Chairman Mike Kelly had the honor of surprising Miguel Silio, Yamundu Martínez, and Vicente Conculini — three friends from Argentina who biked across the Americas to cheer on their beloved national team at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ — with tickets to the June 16 Argentina match.

The Kansas City Unity Cup celebrates the cultures and communities that make our region strong through the universal language of soccer, making it the perfect place to recognize this incredible journey.

Johnson County is proud to welcome the world this summer. 🌎⚽🇦🇷
