Thank you to AmsterDog Rescue for working with us and helping us pull Amore!

Update from Lauren that helped home Amore:

Amore is spending her days attached to Mike at the hip, going to dog parks, hiking, beach trips, went on a day trip to Maine, and might go camping this weekend. Amore is a big part of Mike’s life and she’s getting treated like the queen she is. It’s clear the feeling is mutual because Amore insists on laying top of him while on the couch at all times and sleeps with him in bed at night. I’m over the moon that Amore found her person although I’m shocked myself that she was immediately comfortable with Mike and sees him as her person.

Update from Tinker's new parents

Update from Tinker's new parents
Tinker, who now goes by Luna, has settled in AMAZINGLY. We are so beyond in love with her. She is already so affectionate, confident, brave, and comfortable. Luna’s favorite place to sleep is right on top of our heads after her nightly zoomies. She enjoys doing parkour off the side of the couch and her scratching post - every day she has a new “trick” to show us. All it takes is a 5 minute nap for her to be back up in action. Don’t even try to eating a meal around her because she will stick her face right into your plate and try to eat some too - even when her dish is full!! She loves to push her face into yours for kisses and will tap on you for attention if you take your eyes off of her for one second. She is a bundle of love and energy and we are so lucky to have her! Thank you for everything!!! Christina & Robert

HE'S BACK!!!

Sadly, Tex is back. He has very bad separation anxiety and will need to be with someone who is home often.

Tex is a handsome black and white pit bull that is around 3 years old. Tex is a very active dog who knows how to sit and give paw. He would be the perfect match for anyone that it looking for a best friend that has enough energy to go on endless adventures with. He loves being around other dogs so another playmate would be great for him. Tex needs a strong owner who has bully experience and is willing to continue his training. No cats for this guy due to his strength and activity level. We prefer a home with children over 13 years old. If you are looking for a running, hiking or exploring partner, then Tex is your guy! Please contact the Old Bridge Animal Shelter with any questions: (732) 721-5600 x6300.

Toby and Felix are brothers of Phoebe and Cleo. They are 3 month old adorable kittens who are learning to trust people. Just a week has made a difference; they were hiding in the back of their cage, unsure whom to trust. Now, they come to the front of the cage, wanting to be pet. They're slowly warm up with people, but when you give them your attention, they do nothing but purr with love. If you have experience with shy kittens and are willing to provide them with a chance in your loving home, please make an appointment to meet these lovely kittens. They do not need to be adopted together. Call the Old Bridge Animal Shelter at (732) 721-5600 x6300.

You've come a long way baby!
King came to us in mid-June after being found on Briarwood in Old Bridge. He looked like he had lived a hard life. We think he is about 3 years old. He weighs 55 pounds. At first he was scared and shy. But, when he realized we were here to protect and take care of him, he became friendly and outgoing. He seems to like other dogs but a meet and greet would be required. He has recently been neutered. Please contact the shelter to set up an appointment to meet King if you are interested in adopting him. (732) 721-5600 x6300. (See videos in comments below)

**LOST CAT AS OF 7/6 EVENING** Hello! Last night my tuxedo cat Fuzz got out through the back door. We've searched the yard and our street (in Foxborough). He is an indoor cat so we do not think he would go far but we haven't been able to find him for 10hrs now. If you see him or think you see him, please reach out! Thank you to the community in advance!

Hello to all who read here! Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary/Rescue in Lambertville, NJ has been very pleased to help some of the beautiful cats you see posted on this site to our "Friend to Felines" Program. It was created to help cats (particularly older cats) that have been caged for a long period of time in NJ animal shelters. We are honored to be a "rescue partner" with Old Bridge Animal Shelter, and appreciate the good care the cats receive during their stay at the shelter. I am excited to share that we have helped JUDE, BEEBEE, NIP & TUCK to our home-based foster program. While in care with my group, the cats learn about living life in a home environment (if they have not lived in one before, like BEE BEE), refresh those skills if they HAVE been in a home, and get any follow-up veterinary care they need. In the meantime, I am reviewing adoption applications, which include personal and veterinary references and doing home visits (now done a little differently with COVID restrictions!). The cats in our new program are finding wonderful homes with some really great people, who are also under contract with me to return the cat to my group if they are ever unable to care for it. Never again will these cats face "life behind bars!" Thank you again for reading here; you must love animals if you do! With much gratitude for the help of everyone at The Old Bridge Animal Shelter, Kim Kilmer, Director Schultz Senior Dachshund Sanctuary/Rescue Lambertville, NJ Animal Welfare Award Recipient The New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association
Just wanted you to see how well "Scarface " ~ Gabe is doing! He's my "Little Dude"! I love him so much!! Thank you for everything you do!!
