Teacher Appreciation Week has come to a close and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible community, business partners, and families who helped make this week so special for our staff at Andrew Jackson Elementary.

A huge thank you to our parents for your donations, support, and encouragement throughout the week.

We are so grateful to Wilson Bank & Trust and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage for fully sponsoring two of our breakfast events. Thank you to Just Love Coffee Cafe for donating coffee for one of our breakfast events.

Thank you to Slim & Husky’s Pizza and Cinco de Mayo - Lebanon Road for partnering with our PTO to provide lunches for our staff.

We also appreciate Huggies, McDonald’s Nashville (Gray Family), and Chuck E. Cheese for providing products, treats, and coupons that helped make the week even more fun.

Finally, a very special thank you to our Teacher Appreciation Week chairs, Latishia and Tenisa, who did a phenomenal job planning and organizing an amazing week for our staff. We are so thankful for everyone who helped us celebrate the hardworking educators who make our school so special!

Final boarding call for AJES Airlines ✈️💙

For Day 5 of Teacher Appreciation Week, we flew back home with a delicious breakfast sponsored by our amazing PENCIL Partner, The Hermitage, and one last round of in-flight snacks from our AJES flight crew.

Day 4 of AJES Airlines took our staff to Italy 🇮🇹✈️

Today’s travelers enjoyed an amazing Italian feast from Slim and Husky’s Pizza as we continued our trip around the world for Teacher Appreciation Week. From pasta to laughter, today was full of good food and even better people.

Day 3 of our AJES Teacher Appreciation Week took us to Paris 🇫🇷✈️

Our staff enjoyed a beautiful pastry breakfast sponsored by Wilson Bank & Trust, then later received “in-flight services” from our AJES flight crew as we flew over Greece. From the décor to the snacks to the smiles, today was such a fun way to celebrate the amazing educators who help our students soar every day. 💙🌍☁️

Teacher Appreciation Week is in full swing at AJS, and we are having so much fun with our “AJES Airlines” theme! This week we are traveling the world through food as we celebrate our amazing teachers and staff. Yesterday we visited Mexico, today we’re in Paris, and tomorrow we head to Italy!

We are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow evening for our Chuck E. Cheese Spirit Night! It is always a fun way to wrap up the school year and there are a number of coupons you can take advantage of (see below). A portion of each sale goes to our PTO. There is no school on Tuesday so its a great night to go out!
