Summer is social! But it’s not risk-free.

Summer is in full effect. Without the structure of school, teens and kids have more free time and may face pressure to use substances or attend parties. To increase awareness, we’re helping families ride the WAVES, not the risks!

JOIN THE FUN! This Saturday morning, we will be launching our new campaign! You can find our table alongside Lymes' Youth Service Bureau (LYSB) during the Midsummer 5K. We will be cheering everyone on. We are giving out all sorts of prizes and goodies!

Let's work together to support our youth. Together, we can keep our community safe. Summer's not over yet!

What do substances have in common with single-use plastic, factory farming, and burning fossil fuels?

They all generate pollution - using alcohol, ma*****na, and electronic ni****ne delivery systems produce waste and contribute to climate change. Each of these substances require manufacturing plants, exploitation of resources, and -no pun intended- fuels consumerism via supply and demand, just like any other product on the market.

We can help reduce waste and pollution by increasing awareness about the harms of substance use in several aspects of human health - which includes our environment. Unfortunately, single-use ni****ne vapes and the legalization of cannabis retail sales are increasing across the nation and have become more pervasive than ever.

Companies generate billions of dollars of profit from excessive marketing and distribution of sales. However, little is spent on sustainability efforts, and there are no current environmental standards that manufacturers are required to abide by.

Join the fight against climate change by being informed, reducing demand, and boycotting aggressively marketed alcoholic beverages, cannabis or ni****ne products.
