Congratulations to these fine artists! They designed original bookmarks for our 2026 Summer Reading Program. Because we received several excellent submissions, we had a tough time choosing just one winner for each age group: 0-5, 6-11, 12-18, and Adults (19+) Thank you to all for participating!

It's Throwback Thursday! For our last Acoustic Artists Story Teller Series this spring, we enjoyed the talented band: Crows in the Meadow. They presented "Trains and Boats and Trolley Cars- Getting Around in the Gilded Age!"

Calling all Pokémon trainers ages 6-11!

Join our once-a-month Pokémon club on Saturday, June 20 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. You can learn the card game with other enthusiasts, do a Pokémon activity, or make friends and talk all things Pokémon.

Cards will be available for all to use during the program; no purchase necessary.

The event is free and open to all. Registration is preferred, but not required.

We've got another fun storytime lined up for this Tuesday, June 16! Old Saybrook Public Works Director William Claffey will join us at 10:30 AM to share stories about the construction trucks and equipment that is used to help keep Old Saybrook roads in good condition! PSSST...there may even be one of those trucks coming too!

During June and July, join us for America 250 - Reading is Revolutionary! We'll read stories that highlight the bold and brave individuals who helped shape our nation, then and now.

Join us for a special RPG Game Night on Wednesday, June 17 from 5:30—7:45 PM.

Nations & Cannons is a complete historical campaign setting for D&D 5th Edition that allows players to experience the American Revolution through tabletop roleplaying. Developed by Flagbearer Games, it focuses on 18th-century warfare, replacing traditional fantasy magic with black powder weapons and "Gambits."
