This Sunday, June 7th, 2-4 pm: Join a walk featuring spring ephemerals in Old Saybrook's town forest. Ephemerals are flowering plants that appear only briefly during April to June, then disappear until the following spring.

Meet: At the parking lot *across the street* from 231 Ingham Hill Road in Old Saybrook. The walk will begin in The Preserve and we'll look for blossoms along the red and blue-white trails, walk towards Great Cedars East, and back again.

Time: Arrive by 1:45 for a 2 pm departure from the parking lot. Return to cars by 4 p.m.

Leader: Kathy Connolly, 860-510-2136.

Details: Wear boots, bring water, and insect protection. Walking sticks are highly recommended. More details: Children over 8 are welcome. No dogs, please.
