The Old Tappan First Aid Corps is committed to providing superior emergency medical services to the citizens and patrons of the Borough of Old Tappan and its surrounding communities. The Corps strives to maintain the highest level of readiness, enabling delivery of emergency services in a safe, competent, and caring manner. Since 1939, the Corps' 100% volunteer membership has been dedicated to cul

tivating a service culture and promoting operational excellence. In addition to responding to emergencies, the Old Tappan First Aid Corps also organizes and conducts various safety and public education programs throughout the year. To kick off EMS Week, the Mayor and Council honored two of our very own, Dottie Gillespie and Lynn McIntosh, with a bench dedication at Oakes Park in recognition of their combined 100+ years of volunteer service to the Corps.

Their dedication, compassion, and commitment to our community have touched countless lives over the years — and amazingly, they are both still actively involved with our Corps today.

Congratulations, Dottie and Lynn, and thank you for your extraordinary service and lasting impact on our Corps and community! ❤️🚑
