Olean Food Pantry, Inc. The Olean Food Pantry is a non-profit, community organization run by a 100% volunteer staff wholly dedicated to feeding those in need: body, mind and soul.

Sometimes you hit a snag in the road. Sometimes ends simply don’t meet. Sometimes, despite your best efforts, the kitchen cabinets go empty. For those times we are your neighbors, here to help.

HUNGER BY THE NUMBERS 📈 DEMAND HAS MORE THAN DOUBLED!

Since 2020, the number of individuals served at Olean Food Pantry has more than doubled. That’s not just a data point — it’s a line of cars wrapping around our parking lot. It’s families showing up in record numbers … because they have nowhere else to turn.

And yet — our community shows up. Thanks to donors, volunteers, and community champions, we keep the shelves stocked.

The Olean Food Pantry's Greenhouse and Community Garden together produce more than 3,200 pounds of food in a typical year: vegetables, fruits, herbs, and spices grown on-site and harvested fresh for distribution on every pantry day.

During the active growing months, approximately 40% of the 1,630 individuals we serve each month receive some fresh produce from the High Tunnel Greenhouse or Community.

We are also grateful to Canticle Farm for providing us with generous CSA shares that supplement the fresh produce grown on-site by our volunteer gardeners.
