ACCOUNTANT POSITION:
The Oley Valley School District has an immediate opening for an Accountant to the Business Office.

This position is responsible for the accounting function, auditing, grant reporting, financial reporting, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and other business office functions of the district.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field, 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a related field, and previous school experience are preferred.

Full time, 8 hours per day; 260-day position with benefits. Salary starting $27.00 per hour.

Check-in table opens at 8 AM. Tournament play begins at 9 AM.

Lynx Expo is this Wednesday, May 18 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at OVHS, OVMS and OVES.

Join us for a district-wide celebration of learning in our schools!
Tour the learning labs and resources we offer. See what your students do all day in each of our buildings.

Be sure to stop by our FUTURES FAIR in the OVMS Cafeteria to explore opportunities for your students as they grow from kindergarten through graduation. Local employers, colleges, education agencies and community partners will be sharing information about how you can help your student prepare now for success in the future.

What's So Cool About Manufacturing? Video Contest

Over the past five months, Berks and Schuylkill County middle school students visited manufacturing locations to create videos answering the question: "What's So Cool About Manufacturing?"

We need your votes!

• You can vote as often as you like until Friday, April 8th, 11:59 pm

• The voting buttons are available without watching the videos countless times.

• The videos are on a carousel that moves each time you vote and load the page.

• Voting will determine the Viewers Choice Award winner.

The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing? student video contest for Berks and Schuylkill counties is produced by the Manufacturers Resource Center (MRC) in Allentown, PA. Production support for the Berks Schuylkill contest is provided by PBS39 Lehigh Valley in Bethlehem, PA.

The Oley Valley School District will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 25, 2022, and will follow a Flexible Instructional Day (FID) schedule.

Students should log in to Schoology by 9 a.m. and complete assignments as presented by teachers. Teachers are available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to assist and meet with students. Students should log in to Schoology and complete the required assignments to be present for the instructional day.
