Special thanks to Delbert Hosemann for taking time from his busy schedule to be our featured speaker and for the approximately 150 people who showed up to hear him and our other speakers.

We are looking forward to the Dig Pac Campaign Kickoff Crawfish Boil tomorrow night at Snowden House at Snowden Grove. The event is free to attend and eat! Come and hear the stump speeches and get some crawfish, hamburgers, potato salad and Brownies!!. We've also included a layout to see where you can park and set up chairs if you haven't gotten a seat at a table yet. It's going to be a great time!!

We have another update on our Crawfish Boil!! We've had a couple of speakers that have had to drop out due to conflicting responsibilities and we're had several commit to attending. It's going to be a great event. Late additions are Daniel Sparks, Whitney Lipscomb, and Nick Bain!! We would like to recognize two of our Silver Sponsors for the event: AERC Architecture in Hernando, and Civil-Link Civil Engineering in Southaven. Thank you to both fine businesses for recognizing and supporting infrastructure funding in DeSoto County!!!

DeSoto County got a big win in the Annual Projects Bill from the State Legislature this year. The DCRUA (County Sewer) system got a $10 million appropriation from the legislature to assist with the construction of the new system due to the termination of the County's contract with the City of Memphis. Thank you to all of the State and Local officials who took the lead in making this happen!

We’re updating our invite today with additional speakers! Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann has confirmed for the boil. Also wanted to make folks aware to bring your own lawn chairs unless you want to buy a table. It’s going to be a great event! Looking forward to seeing you there!

Announcing the 1st DIG PAC Campaign Kickoff Crawfish Boil!

Join us on April 14, 2026, at the beautiful Snowden House in Snowden Grove Park, Southaven, MS!We're excited to host an evening featuring stump speeches from statewide elected officials and candidates for statewide office in the 2027 elections, along with local state officials. Several speakers are already confirmed, with more still in the works!This event is open to everyone.

We'll serve crawfish, plus hamburgers and hotdogs for anyone who prefers them. Food and drinks are free!We kindly ask that you make a voluntary contribution in the bucket when you pick up your food—the amount is entirely up to you. All proceeds will benefit DeSoto Hope, our local cancer charity that supports DeSoto County residents facing cancer treatment.

We were happy to attend the fundraiser for Senator Briggs Hopson at the 10th Inning Grill in Southaven. We were able to talk to the Senator about the looming sewer crisis affecting the county. Thank you to Senator Hopson for visiting DeSoto County!
