Oh my! I began reading The Wish by Nicholas Sparks just after finishing The Choice. The Wish was even better. I stayed up late trying to finish it and could not put it down. Though I finally guessed what was happening, I still teared up when the end came.

This author does it again! This is an epic about a nurse in the battlefields of the Vietnam war and her difficult return to civilian life. Thought-provoking book.

ISLANDS, by Anne Rivers Siddons is a wonderful book that takes place in and around Charleston SC. It is about a group of close doctor friends, the Scrubs, who live together much of the time, and play together. One of my favorite authors, I kept waiting for something to happen, and it did. This one is a real page-turner

The Inmate, a psychological thriller will keep you up at night wanting to know more. A woman goes to work at a prison, returning to her childhood home. A great read!
