🎓❤️ What a special day at Arboga Elementary! ❤️🎓

We had the honor of welcoming back Lindhurst High School’s graduating seniors who once walked the halls of Arboga. It was an unforgettable visit, filled with smiles, hugs, and memories as they reconnected with former teachers and inspired our students with their life journeys. Once a Cougar, always a Cougar!

And the fun didn’t stop there! 🐾 The incredible Shady Creek team, led by the one and only Yeti, brought the energy with an unforgettable Fun Night performance for our 4th and 5th graders.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this such a warm, joyful, and inspiring day for our Arboga family. ❤️

🏆 CAASPP Testing Week is Almost Here! 📚

At Arboga Elementary, the Cougars don’t just compete on the athletic fields — we bring that same drive and Cougar pride into the classroom! 💪 This morning, we held multiple rallies to get our students pumped up and ready to give their best on next week’s CAASPP state test.

Our amazing staff even created a fun testing video to encourage our students and meet them on their level — because we’re all in this together! 🎥🐾

Let’s go, Cougars! Stay focused, give it your all, and show what you know. You've got this! 💙💛

🏆 Huge congratulations to the Arboga Track & Field Team! 🏆

Our 7th-grade girls and 8th-grade boys brought home 1st-place trophies from the YCOE Track & Field Championships at Wheatland High School! 🥇 Our athletes were incredible—earning ribbons in nearly every event. You make us so proud! ❤️🤍

Special thanks to Coach Walker and Coach Alex for your dedication and leadership. Go Arboga! 💪

The Arboga Mariachi band set the tone with an unforgettable performance that stole the show, and our track and field team crushed it at the Bear River Time Trials! 💪🏽🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🎉 What a fun day in Mrs. Verkuyl's 4th grade classroom! 📚 Annalise just hit an amazing milestone—she surpassed 1 MILLION words read in AR! 🎉👏 Huge congrats to her for all that hard work and dedication!

And for a little April Fools fun, Mrs. Verkuyl had the class practice a flood drill... but surprise! It was all part of an April Fool's joke! 😄🤣 The kids loved the prank, and we had lots of laughs!

What a great day of reading, learning, and fun!

🎉 A big round of applause for the 5th graders at Arboga for their amazing Wax Museum presentations! 🏆 Their hard work and creativity were on full display as they brought history to life in such a fun and inspiring way. This event was a true celebration of their talent and a wonderful moment for our school and community to come together. 🌟 Great job, everyone!

🌟 Celebrating Future Leaders at Arboga Elementary! 🌟

We are so proud of the incredible students at Arboga Elementary School! 🎉

👏 Fawad was recognized at the MJUSD School Board meeting for his heroic quick thinking and bravery when he helped a choking student on his first day! What an amazing display of leadership and care. Well done, Fawad! 🙌

Huge congratulations to our 7th graders – Sofia, Lexi, Autumn, and Isabel – for completing their AVID Tutor training! Your hard work and dedication to helping others succeed is truly inspiring. We can't wait to see you continue to grow as leaders in and out of the classroom! 💡

These young leaders are shaping the future with their actions, and we couldn't be more proud. Keep up the great work, everyone! 🌟

A Big Thank You to Nurse Megan and our local heroes! Our Boys and Girls Club, led by Mrs. Penny experienced hands-on First Aid training, teaching them valuable skills that could make a difference in an emergency.
But that’s not all! We also got to learn about our local community heroes:

🐾 Yuba County Animal Control shared important information about animal safety and care.
🚒 Linda Fire Department showed us how they help keep our community safe.
🍽️ Beale Air Force Airman served up MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) and gave us insight into their work!

A huge thank you to all these amazing teams for taking the time to educate and inspire our kids. 🙌

A big congratulations to the Arboga boys basketball program. Our 6th graders finished off their season with a victory over New Life and our 8th graders took 3rd at the John Wright Invitational Tournament. Way to go boys! 🏆🏀
