Olney Fire Department and Noble-Wakefield Fire Protection District teamed up today for our annual Big Water Training!
A huge thank-you to all of the firefighters who took the time to participate. Training like this is so important to keep our crews prepared, confident, and ready to work together when the call comes in.

Olney Fire Department is excited to start our next Basic Operations Firefighter class recognized by OSFM and taught through Frontier Community College. We happily welcome numerous departments for this round of class. Thank you to the chiefs who entrusted us with their firefighters and thank you to the instructors who dedicate an immense amount of time to provide training to local fire departments.

At our monthly department meeting this month Chief Harmon presented Lt Dave Hawkins with a plaque commemorating his 40 years of service. This is an incredible milestone and measure of dedication and commitment. We would like to thank Lt Hawkins for his service and look forward to more years of service and leadership.

We would like to thank Ruler Foods in Olney for conducting their “Hydrate Your Heroes” drink fundraiser for our department. Also a huge thank you to our community who donated drinks to support this cause. They have been received and are appreciated!!

A huge thank you to Chief Daron Harmon and Assistant Chief Steve Gardner for hosting a Family Fun Night at the Olney City Pool for our firefighters and their families last night.
We truly appreciate the time and effort that went into making the evening possible and giving everyone a chance to relax, connect, and make some great memories. Thank you both for your leadership and for supporting the families who stand behind us every day!

Head on over this weekend to our neighbors house and support a local family and firefighter. Matt Murphy has been serving as a firefighter in our community for several years between Noble and Claremont Fire. Head on over to Claremont firehouse and enjoy some delicious food while supporting one of our own.

Join us on July 18 from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM and help support this family, thank you. 
And yes, that is a goat.
