The Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation The Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation will be donating funds raised directly to the Children's Inn at NIH and other charities chosen by the Foundation.

The Dick and Jody Vilardo Foundation was created to continue service to the community and carry out Dick and Jody's legacy of giving back to those in need. All of the money raised will be distributed to charities that both Dick and Jody and the Vilardo family are passionate about. This includes much support to the Children's Inn at NIH. Dick and Jody Vilardo tragically lost their lives on Mother's

Day, May 10, 2015. They are survived by their two children, Andy (Lindsay), and Katy, along with two grandchildren, Louis and Ellen. They have countless friends and family who were devastated by their passing and still struggle today with grief. We all need be together and help others together, just as they would.

Today is a pizza day, but instead of pictures of pizzas, we bring you pictures of flowers and rock messages from the kiddos at Montgomery County’s Camp Erin. The Vilardo Foundation has been so honored to support CaringMatters in making this weekend-long grief camp available to children who are experiencing the death of a loved one. The rain held off all weekend and we like to think Dick and Jody had a role to play. We are honored for your donations to enable the support of activities and organizations like this. 💕

Thanks to your donations and Katy’s friends in cooking class at The Diener School, we prepared 50 sandwiches for Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. It is exciting to teach children at school about giving back to those in need, just like Dick and Jody did. Thank you to our donors who help make this important lesson possible. ❤️

It’s Giving Tuesday and we are putting your donations to work! Katy was happy to drop off our annual support to our friends at Manna Food Center. $6,500 goes a long way to feed Montgomery County families with turkeys and produce throughout the holiday season.

Let’s not stop there… this giving Tuesday consider donating to The Vilardo Foundation and helping us continue to positively impact the lives of those less fortunate in our area.
