Olympia Fields Park District Is Hiring – Facility Attendant
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Facility Attendant to support event operations at the Bradford Barn. This role is essential to keeping our facilities clean, safe, and running smoothly before, during, and after rentals.
What You’ll Do:
• Open, prepare, and close facilities for scheduled events
• Clean event areas and maintain bathrooms throughout rentals
• Ensure proper setup according to event instructions
• Greet guests, answer questions, and enforce Park District policies
• Complete incident reports, rental documents, and post-event evaluations
• Serve as the on-site Park District representative
• Respond calmly and effectively to issues as they arise
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum age 21
• High school diploma
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Availability on nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Preferred: Experience in hospitality, customer service, maintenance, or housekeeping
