Pioneer Elementary School is located on the corner of Carlyon and Henderson Boulevard near Olympia High School. Our service area reaches out to several neighborhoods of southeast Olympia. Because of its proximity, Pioneer is truly a neighborhood school. Named in honor of the pioneers who settled the southeast Olympia area, the school was completed in September, 1969.

We are looking forward to meeting our incoming Kindergarten students and their families. Please join us at one or both of these upcoming play dates which will take place on the school’s playground. You’ll also be able to meet some of our PTA parents and learn more about membership & all the fun we plan to have throughout this year. Mark your calendars! We can’t wait to meet you soon!

The unexpected rain couldn’t stop us from rolling into our very 1st Bike Bus event for May’s Walk N Roll Wednesday. Thank you to our incredible committee who planned the routes and for our wonderful community who joined along the way! What a morning to remember! So much fun for all involved! Well done, Pioneer families!! 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴
