Target Zero Thurston Task Force Zero deaths and serious injuries by 2030 - seeking to prevent and educate and keep citizens safe

The Thurston County Traffic Safety Task Force is sponsored by the Thurston County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The task force collaborates with county and state law enforcement agencies, media outlets and volunteers on traffic safety emphasis programs and events. It also teams with local organizations and schools to help promote and educate young drivers on seatbelt safety, speeding and DUI’s.

Most of us never drive impaired, but over half of all traffic fatalities in Washington involve an impaired driver. That's why during the holiday season law enforcement across the state will be increasing patrols focused on impaired drivers.
