Hi Michelle. Sorry for the delay in responding. The attached picture is of CHS Freshman Greysen (Griz) Hayvaz. Greysen has been volunteering at the Thurston County Foodbank for the last year+. He acts as the "runner" on packing nights for the ForKids Backpack Program. It is his "job" to retrieve cases of product (milk, soup, snacks, fruit) from the supply room and take it to where it's needed on the packing table. By staying ahead of the need, he is able to keep the table moving. He is pictured here with Cheryl Falkenburg--a proud CHS mom. Cheryl is in charge of this program. This is just one of his many activities that his dad and I are proud of!!! If you need more information, please don't hesitate to contact me. Dayna Dayton

Fruit Cups
Dried Fruit - Rasins, fruit leather
100% Fruit Juice in boxes - no pouches please
Easy Mac
Cup of Soup
Ganola Bars
Cold cereal in mini boxes
Oatmeal packets
cheese and crackers - snack items

November 2 - just finished packaging with 20 members of the Tender Loving Care Newcomer's group. Two hours and 1335 bags later, we finished assembling bags. This added to a pallet we already had on hand brought our numbers up to 1621 which will hopefully meet our needs for next week.
