Thanks to our team at Thurston County Public Health & Social Services and their amazing partners for a great turnout last week! 👏✨

They gave 214 vaccines to 90 community members; handed out car seats and did car seat safety checks, and so much more.

Thanks also to all the community members who came by. We’re grateful to live in a caring, supportive place. We 💙Thurston County!

Hey - are you feeling Dance-y? 💃🕺 Join South Sound Dance Access tomorrow, Saturday, August 29 at 4PM for some creative expression, strength building, and connection!

Learn a variety of dance styles in a sensory sensitive atmosphere of low lights and low music. Movement games with props and sensory tools aid in learning about time, space, place, direction, levels, and more!

The event is hosted by the Thurston County Public Health and Social Services Department

LOOK 👀A puppy watching the sun set at Burfoot Park! 🐶🎴

Thank you to The Olympian for sharing their great video and article about one of the County’s beloved parks! Burfoot Park is getting a trail refresh, and you can still visit, play and access the beach during the project!

This refresh comes after the trails have provided our community many years of fun, beautiful views and access to the rocky beach ... the park will remain open and alternate trails are open, too!

Our Emergency Management team is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our response network. If you'd like to support emergency operations or get certified in life saving CPR, we have hands-on opportunities ready for you.
