Thurston County’s Fall Fix-It Fair is back! 👏😀

Bring your broken items and get them repaired for free at the Lacey MakerSpace on Wednesday, November 5, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Volunteer fixers will be available to help with clothing and mending, lamps, small appliances, jewelry, housewares, and more.

When you repair instead of replace, you reduce waste, save money, and support a more sustainable community.

Below is basic distribution information for Monday at Evergreen Christian Community (NOT at the Olympia Food Pantry!), Tuesday at Saint Martin’s University (NOT at the Lacey Food Pantry!), and Wednesday at the Olympia Food Pantry. Please visit our website for important details, including maps for drive-up service on Monday and Tuesday!

Walk-up services during the Monday/Tuesday drive-through distributions are difficult for capacity and safety reasons, but please know that we never turn anyone away.

🕸️You won’t want to miss this year’s Trunk or Treat this Thursday, October 30th, here at PHSS on 412 Lilly Rd from 5:30-6:30pm! This fun family-friendly event is a great opportunity to dress up, connect with the community, and make lasting memories!👻🧛‍♀️🦸‍♂️



Anyone is welcome to join us for the festivities, see attached flyer for details!👻 🎃



Sheriff Sanders is coming! The Sheriff is our “celebrity judge” to help pick the top 3 trunk winners!! We’ve got a lot of trunks this year, and even more creativity – it will be awesome to see what all our trunkers have come up with 😊



We also have scheduled a fire truck to come from Olympia FD, as well as police vehicles from Olympia PD and Washington State Patrol!



Parking: Attached is the parking map. We have very limited spaces in our parking lot for treaters to use, so please look at this map for alternative spots around our area.



So, grab a treat bag, dress up if you want, and come on by to join in the fun!!

Attendees can look forward to cultural performances, speakers, educational activities and food. Families are welcome.

Saturday, Sept. 27 is the Nisqually Watershed Festival from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.! This is the one day each year when you cannot drive to the refuge-- our parking lots are completely full of activities and entertainment. Head for the Hawks Prairie Park and Ride and catch a shuttle between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. This event and the shuttle are all free! https://nisquallyriver.org/festival/
