Omaha Metro Area AGA

Omaha Metro Area AGA Who We Are Our chapter celebrated its 20th Anniversary in April 2009. We still have 6 of the charter members. Nationally, AGA was founded in 1950 when Robert W.

We are a professional, non-profit association of members from the public and private sector that include: accountants, auditors, analysts, contractors, information technology, and more. King gathered a small group of federal accountants and began the Federal Government Accountants Association. That charter group had high hopes that FGAA’s members could work together to improve government financial

management. As it turned out, a lot of other remarkable things happened along the way - things like lifelong friendships, professional growth, personal development and momentous change in government, due in no small part to the efforts of FGAA and its successor, AGA.
