Starting on September 1st, infants and children enrolled in WIC AND Medicaid will receive specialty formula prescribed by their medical provider from Nebraska Medicaid. From preparing healthy meals to comforting little ones after a long day, dads play an important role in helping children grow and thrive.

Did you know that WIC isn't just for moms? Fathers, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers may qualify for WIC benefits if they care for an eligible child under age 5 and meet program requirements.

If you do not qualify for health insurance, WIC can help connect you to resources. Families with children under 5 years old may be eligible for vaccines and immunizations through the Douglas County Health Department clinic.
