A big shoutout to the 27 men at the Nebraska State Penitentiary who earned their GEDs this month. This achievement represents hard work and persistence to achieve a goal. And what better time than graduation season to celebrate a milestone that opens doors for the future.

Thank you to the family members who encouraged these men along the way and to the NDCS teachers and staff whose dedication makes accomplishments like this possible.

This is just the beginning. With growing higher education opportunities across NDCS facilities, there are even more pathways for individuals to continue their education and prepare for successful reentry. 🎓🎉
