Omaha Police Honor Guard

Omaha Police Honor Guard The Honor Guard is a volunteer group of officers and command personnel formed and organized to provide ceremonial services for the Omaha Police Department.

We were established in 1954 as a volunteer organization devoted to positively representing the Omaha Police Department through various civic functions. The Omaha Police Department Honor Guard provides ceremonial services that honor with dignity those of our ranks, active or retired, who have died. The Omaha Police Department Honor Guard also participates in other civic functions that promote the

highest qualities of the Omaha Police Department. The Honor Guard executes ceremonial functions with the utmost skill, precision and pride throughout the community that meet high standards of the Department and Honor Guard. The Omaha Police Department Honor Guard will also proudly represent the Department, and assist when asked, any in the line of duty deaths of outside agency officers.
