Iranian Student Association of Omaha (ISAO) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious voluntary student association at the University of Nebraska founded in 2011. ISAO strives to introduce, promote and maintain Iranian social and cultural activities and events in addition to serve the Iranian student community in Omaha, Nebraska.

--ISAO’s foremost goals include:
Promoting Iranian/Iranian-

American community and culture. Fostering friendship among different cultural groups and providing a source of unity and support for the Iranian student community in Omaha. Helping new Iranian students to settle. Encouraging Iranian students to succeed in their academic life. Creating a transition for Iranian graduates toward becoming a workforce. Hosting Iranian cultural shows including Persian New Year. Hosting poetry nights. Hosting movie nights. Watching the Team Melli games. Welcome Picnics and etc. The ISAO welcomes any individual, community or business to participate and/or contribute in ISAO’s activities and events.
