WorkSource can help young people between the ages of 16 and 21 to:

WorkSource can help you:

• Learn strategies for finding a job.
• Get job referrals and job-search assistance.
• Get help writing your résumé and preparing for job interviews.
• Post your résumé online for employers to see.
• Assess your skills and get career guidance.
• Get help with computer skills, on the job training, vocational training, obtaining GED or high school diploma and work experience.
• Learn how much jobs pay and which jobs are in demand. Job seekers have access to:
• Computers with Internet access.

• Copy machine.

**Flagger Training Certification Class**

Flagger Training Certification course is designed to provide the essential knowledge and skills to safely manage traffic in work zones and temporary traffic control (TTC) situations.

This comprehensive training covers state and federal codes governing work zone processes, proper setup and operation, equipment usage, and specific flagger responsibilities.

The course aims to minimize risks and ensure smooth traffic flow to protect both construction workers and the public.
Upon successful completion, attendees will receive a certification valid for 3 years in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Here are the specific course details:
• Date & Time: October 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Location: WorkSource Okanogan County (Bodie Room), 126 S. Main Street, Omak, WA 98841
• Cost: $125.14
• Instructor: Mario Gonzalez, OIC of Washington
Course Requirements:
• Must be 18+ years old
• A valid government-issued photo I.D. card is required at the time of training.

This full-time 8.5-month position will help job seekers gain skills and use technology to find a great job. This is an AmeriCorps national service position through Washington Service Corps.
