🚨 Causeraiser update! πŸŽ‰

Together, we hit our $5,000 goal and unlocked our $5,000 match, for a total $10,000 investment in community mental wellbeing! We couldn't have done it without our matching gift partner – Trust Point – and the 20 donors who stepped up. THANK YOU!

This is just the beginning when it comes to causeraisers... stay tuned! πŸ‘€

🚨 LAST DAY TO DONATE!

Small steps pay off big for mental health. Daily habits can make a difference in our mental health. Sleep, movement, connection, and stress management all improve mental health.

Our first causeraiser ends today. Give now to take advantage of Trust Point's dollar-for-dollar match. Our $5,000 community goal + the $5,000 match = a possible $10,000 total investment in local mental wellbeing programs! Your gift is the key to unlocking change! πŸ”‘πŸ”“

Safe, supportive childhoods build mental wellbeing. The good news is, 84% of La Crosse County students report having a trusted adult in their lives. If not at home, these relationships can blossom at school and out in the community, like at our funded partners!

Your donation to our mental health causeraiser builds connections that help young people feel seen, supported, and less alone. There's just under 24 hours left to double your gift thanks to our Trust Point match!

Meet Mykala!

Mykala is a Community Health Worker supervisor at partner Family Promise of the Great Rivers, where staff help low-income families and families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence.

As a Community Health Worker, Mykala meets participants where they’re at – physically, mentally, and emotionally. During visits, she helps individuals identify signs of depression, navigate mental health challenges, and connect with resources that can improve their mental wellbeing. Mykala is also trained in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and uses a trauma-informed approach to help participants understand and overcome the impacts of childhood trauma.

Mental health support looks different for everyone, but trusted relationships, early intervention, and the compassionate care that nonprofit professionals like Mykala provide can make a lasting difference.

Your donation to Great Rivers United Way's mental health causeraiser supports Community Health work across our region – and thanks to our match from Trust Point, your impact will be doubled!

Better mental health starts with early intervention.

Mental health conditions are treatable. Getting support early works best.

When people – especially our youngest and most vulnerable community members – receive support early, they are more likely to build healthy coping skills, strengthen resilience, and avoid reaching a crisis point.

Your donation to our mental health causeraiser funds local programs that connect young people and families with the resources they need when it matters most. Don't forget: your gift will be matched thanks to Trust Point!

Prevention is possible. πŸ’š

This morning, we shared that su***de is preventable. Prevention also means helping people – especially our youth – build the tools, support systems, and confidence they need before they reach a crisis point.

Community programs focused on mental wellbeing can help people feel connected, supported, and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Your donation to our mental health causeraiser helps support local programs doing this important work throughout our region. Take advantage of Trust Point's matching gift through this Friday!
