We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to the Department of Public Safety personnel assigned to our station, who have consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and ownership in their duties.

Their tireless efforts have not only supported our volunteer stations across the county but also ensured the provision of critical assistance with emergency responses, maintenance of station cleanliness, and thorough equipment checks.

In addition to their required daily tasks, these individuals have gone above and beyond their responsibilities, showcasing a remarkable level of commitment and care. We appreciate the meticulous attention to detail and the high level of service they have provided, and we look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts and achieving great outcomes together.

Their contributions have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for their hard work and dedication.

We extend our gratitude to the Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center for their tireless efforts in maintaining the safety and awareness of our community and public safety professionals through the 911 system.

It is noteworthy that 911 dispatchers are frequently overlooked as first or front-line workers, yet they are the ones who respond to calls and provide initial assistance via telephone in every emergency situation where 911 is contacted.

These professionals serve as the first point of care in the emergency response system, offering critical guidance on various matters such as CPR instructions, crisis intervention, and call transfers to relevant agencies or jurisdictions.

We appreciate the dedication of the ESVA dispatchers and acknowledge their invaluable contributions during National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.
