Due to the storms Friday we had a tree fall on our fence and the treee had to be removed. The positive side is there is a better view of the wigwam, depot and caboose. (Photos by Duane)

This has been an extremely tough decision to make but with all of the rain received this week and a chance for more today/tonight we are making the decision to postpone the Car & Bike Show until Saturday, October 10th.

I know it might upset a few people but with the money that the people invest in their vehicles we don't want to take the chance.
More details will be posted later in the week!

Until then.......THE SWAP MEET WILL GO ON, WE ARE OPEN TODAY TIL 4PM AND WE WILL BE OPEN 8AM TIL 3PM SUNDAY!!!!

Come on out to the Museum Complex this weekend. We will be open from 1 - 4 on Saturday and Sunday.
make sure to tour all of our wonderful historic buildings on the complex. We have so much history and heritage to offer and share with our community.

Had a great day with the 4th and 5th grade students from Whiting and Maple Valley schools for Heritage Day at the Museum Complex on Thursday May 14. Thank you to all the volunteers that make this event possible each year.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Monona County Community Partners Foundation for their generous grant to Onawa's Museum Complex.
This $4,300 will go toward repairing/replacing the Interstate sign promoting our amazing Museum Complex.
This project, for promotion of tourism, is a joint effort between MCCPF, the three Museums, the City of Onawa, and Onawa Chamber of Commerce.
