This week we had the Photography Workshop, as well as, the Animal/Vet Science Summer Camp! 📸🐾⛺️
During our workshop, we had a guest speaker who is a professional photographer😆 and the kids learned so much! They learned about different types of cameras and how they work. We then took a little trip over to the Monona Arboretum so they could take pictures of the animals (I unfortunately forgot to take pictures🤦‍♀️). When we came back, they were instructed to pick out their favorite picture and filled out a Photography Exhibit Label so they can enter them in the fair!
At our camp, the kiddos learned so much about animal science! They explored animal nutrition, swine identification (ear notching)🐖, bio security🦠🔦, and even got to do a fun, but slightly challenging, Breakout Box at the end! 🤓

This past week we did the Fairy Gardens Workshop, as well as, the LEGO Summer Camp! ⛺️🔨
During the workshop, the kids painted a flower pot, filled it with soil, and decorated their own custom fairy garden! 🧚‍♀️🪴We wrapped the workshop up with a goals sheet so they can enter it into the fair!
At the camp, the kids learned so many cool and interesting facts about the ocean! 🌊🦑 This camp gave them the chance to work with robots 🤖😱 In their groups, campers coded the Lego robots to save and retrieve all of their lost crew members! 🆘

Last chance to register for the Project WILD Summer Camp!
This camp is open to everyone --- including 4-H members, non-members, and Clover Kids!
Please join us on June 4th from 9 AM - 3 PM at the Monona County Extension Office!
Youth in grades 4-8 will investigate wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation through outdoor exploration and discovery!
