We at Vineall Ambulance are deeply saddened to announce the passing of one of our own, Nelson Halladay. Nelson served our agency for over 30 years, touching countless lives with his compassion and dedication. He was truly one of a kind, always providing care to those in need with a generous heart and unwavering commitment.

Nelson will never be forgotten. We ask everyone to keep his family and loved ones in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Fly high, Nelson. This isn’t goodbye—it’s until we meet again. Rest easy, Nelson. We have it from here.

The theme for National EMS Week this year is “Honoring Our Past, Forging Our Future.” This years theme empowers us to remember the pioneers who made emergency medical services what it is today and encourages us to face the future of EMS with their same tenacity and drive for excellence. This year marks the 50th anniversary of National EMS Week. During this week it is a time to show our gratitude towards our EMS providers nationwide who provide lifesaving care day in and day out. 50 years since celebrating EMS Week our profession has made enormous strides in pre-hospital care. Everyday across this nation EMS providers answer calls for service. Without the tireless efforts put in everyday by our providers we wouldn’t be able to provide the care that we do today. With this being said, I would like to wish all the providers out there a happy EMS week but even more to my team of dedicated providers at Vineall Ambulance. Thank you for all that you do!
