AMR Oneonta wants to take a moment to congratulate one of our very own, Celina Kowalcyzk, on her special recognition and graduation from SUNY Cobleskill Paramedic Program!

Over the last several months, Celina has spent her days working full-time and studying to advance from EMT-B to EMT-P, and in due time, she will get a brand new title with many more responsibilities! 🙂

We commend you for your hard work and dedication to the EMS field, Celina, and for all of your hard work.

Your AMR family is so proud!

This week, we are proud to recognize and celebrate someone truly special--our resident nurse, Deborah Klingler 👏

With an incredible 50+ years in nursing, Deb's dedication to care and service is nothing short of inspiring. She has been a valued member of the AMR family since 2019, following decades of service with Cooperstown Medical Transport, and continues to support both clinical and operations teams in countless way.

Deb is also a NYS EMT-CC, a dedicated member of the Edmeston Fire Department, an American Heart Association CPR Instructor, and led EMS efforts at Cooperstown Dreams Park for years.

When she's not serving others, Deb enjoys spending time with her 5 children and her many grandchildren ❤️

From all of us at AMR of Central New York, thank you, Deb, for your compassion, leadership and lifelong dedication to service. We are honored to have you on our team!

As part of EMS Week, our State Capitol hosts a memorial ceremony for our fellow brothers and sisters who have fallen.

Please consider attending to show your support of the legacy each provider has left behind and support their loved ones.

On May 19, 2026, we will come together to honor the brave EMS professionals of New York State who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

These dedicated men and women answered every call with courage, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to others. Their service saved lives, strengthened communities, and reflected the very best of what it means to serve.

We invite you to join us for the 2026 EMS Memorial Dedication Ceremony, hosted by the NYS Department of Health, Division of State EMS, beginning at 11:00 AM. Together, we will remember their legacy, support their loved ones, and stand united in gratitude and respect.

Though they are gone, they will never be forgotten.
