** Our Center is looking for contractors for home accessibility projects. Must have insurance and workman's comp for larger construction crews. You can reach me (Don Wyckoff) at 607-432-8000 Or send a private message with your information. Primary needs include ramp construction, Home modifications such as widening doorways and modification to bathrooms. Once approved I will include you or your company to my referral list. It is evident that the significant impact of Independent Living Centers (ILCs) on the disabled community is not matched by sufficient funding and representation in the budget, despite their proven value. This call to action is particularly relevant for those who know someone with a disability.

Our Independent Living Center's help ANYONE with a disability and their families. We save the State millions and millions of dollars each year by providing the services our Government does not. Each year the cost of living & operating costs goes higher, yet we continually get underfunded and are often the first programs to be cut.

You can help by reaching out to your representatives or flooding the Governors office with us Monday February 9, 2026 at the Legislative Office Building in Albany. If you or someone you know have a disability, please share this!
