Democracy Matters is here to help you do just that. If you’re not registered to vote or you’re not sure if you are, stop by Fitz this Tuesday and Thursday to make sure your voice is heard on election day!

In honor of Women’s History Month we’ll also be discussing women in American history and their influence on our democracy! (free stuff available too) we hope you’ll stop by! 🇺🇸🎉

This past week our chapter attended the Annual Democracy Matters Summit! This year titled “Making Good Trouble” in honor of John Lewis and his legacy as a political activist!

We heard from so many great speakers including Rep Mondaire Jones (D-NY 17) pictured here and Sen. Gary Winfield, a wonderful speaker and an example of the success of free and fair elections!

Thanks to everyone who participated, it was a great way to kick off the semester.

BOOM final post on our responses for the tabling event we held! (i remembered)

The Democracy Matters club wants students like you to speak up and tell us why democracy matters, and why you even vote.

Now a days with everything going on, we need to remember how and why we use our voices to begin with. it’s crucial to know your voice DOES matter and to not lose hope on a better tomorrow.

Change and progress comes slowly, so let’s keep using our voices! Also HUGE thanks to everyone who participated!
