JKF Onset Little Free Library

Hello JKF friends! We are seeking donations for our library. Our friends at DiVito Realty Inc have offered the Onset location as a book drop location. If you are unable to drop books off, please message us and we will pick them up!

The JKF is honored to have a little free library in the community. It is certainly well loved by our community as well as visitors. We try our best to keep it stocked, but this summer has been really difficult.

We have exhausted many of our community resources as well as donations. It may appear at times that it isn't being maintained- I assure it is. Unfortunately, we can't keep up. We are not sure if it's the foot traffic or sadly people taking large amounts of books (5+) at a time.

It certainly makes sense that on Saturday I put 40 new books in the library, and it was empty by the evening. We had an exciting festival in town happening!

The week before, on Sunday afternoon, I put 30 books in and it was empty by Monday morning 😞

Happy Summer! The library is back up and filled with books. We are still working on the sea glass pieces. They will be reattached in the next few weeks. ☀️🐬

We have taken the LFL down to give it a much needed make over! It will be back up in a few days!! We appreciate all of the donations and certainly hope that the community is enjoying it!

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you for the book donations! I was there tidying up the library and noticed quite a few new age-appropriate selections! I added quite a few myself. There were quite a few adult reads that are pretty fantastic as well- those will be dropped at the post office!

Make sure you stop by and grab a new book or leave one! Enjoy the beautiful weather!

Hello JKF Onset Little Free Library friends! We are looking for children’s book donations. If you have any gently used donations that you are ready to pass on- please message us for a pick up.

With the nicer weather coming we will have more foot traffic in Onset and we want to be properly prepared!

The library made it through the winter beautifully but we need to give it a spring spruce up soon! New books and a paint touch up very soon!
