A big thank you to Pioneer’s Masonry classes and their teacher, Grant Brocwell, for their hard work and assistance repairing the brick wall at Station 2!

We truly appreciate the time, effort, and craftsmanship that went into this project. It’s always great to see students using their skills to give back to the community, and the finished project looks fantastic.

Join us for the Fire Department’s 1st Annual Open House & Pancake Breakfast!

We are excited to invite our community out to Station #1 for a morning of great food, good conversation, and a chance to meet the people who serve Springfield Township every day. We are hoping to make this an annual event and would love to see the community come out and support it!

A huge thank you to the Ontario Lions Club for helping make this event possible!

We hope to see everyone there for a fun morning at the fire station!

Last week, we had the privilege of attending and supporting the annual Adaptive Track and Field Day at Ontario Schools.

Even with the rainy weather, the day was filled with smiles, encouragement, and school spirit. We were honored to cheer on these incredible athletes and be part of such a special event.

We’re proud to announce that Medic 21 is now officially in service and ready to respond to calls throughout our community.

This addition strengthens our ability to provide fast, high-quality emergency medical care when it matters most. Our crews are committed to serving with professionalism, compassion, and dedication every day.

We’re excited to have Medic 21 on the road and ready to serve Springfield Township/Ontario! Tillie approves of the new medic!

Last week, some of our firefighters attended an Active Shooter Incident Management class in Cleveland with multiple agencies from across the region.

Ongoing training and teamwork help ensure we’re ready to respond when our community needs us most. Great job to our crew for continuing to sharpen their skills!

A big thank you to Texas Roadhouse for stopping by and generously providing lunch for our crews! Your kindness and support mean so much to our firefighters, and we truly appreciate you thinking of us.

It’s gestures like this that remind us how lucky we are to serve such a supportive community. Thanks again for helping keep our crews fueled and ready!

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to a very generous community member who recently made a sizeable donation to our department in appreciation for the care we provided to the father of a local family. While they wish to remain anonymous, their kindness and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. Serving our community is our greatest honor, and knowing that our care made a difference for a family during a difficult time truly means the world to us.

Please join us in officially welcoming our four new full-time firefighters: Cody Burden, Jonathan Smith, Reece Miller, and Luke Bruce, to the Springfield Township Fire Department!

On Monday, December 1st, we held a special swearing-in ceremony to celebrate this important moment in their careers. Becoming a full-time firefighter is more than just a job; it’s a commitment to service, sacrifice, and protecting others when they need it most.

We are proud of the dedication each of these men has shown to our department and our community. Congratulations, and welcome to the family. We’re honored to have you on our team!
