Oregon Food Bank-Southeast Oregon Services Oregon Food Bank-Southeast Oregon Services is a fully supported Branch of Oregon Food Bank.

As a branch of the Oregon Food Bank, we work to end hunger at its root causes. We do this by strengthening local food systems, developing new partnerships, and advocating in support of those experiencing hunger. Southeast Oregon Services works to improve food access throughout Malheur and Harney Counties for our growing network of over 25 local food pantries and mobile distributions. Con apertura prevista para el verano de 2027, el Centro Comunitario de Alimentos de Ontario será un espacio accesible y acogedor donde las personas podrán reunirse, aprender y crecer a través de los alimentos. 🌟 Help Shape the Future Ontario Community Food Center! 🌟

Opening in Summer 2027, the Ontario Community Food Center will be an accessible and welcoming space where people can gather, learn, and grow through food. The center will include Oregon Food Bank operations and will be located between Valley Family Health Care’s Fortner Neighborhood Clinic and River Bend Place, creating a community hub designed to improve quality of life and expand economic opportunities across the Western Treasure Valley.

🫑Tying up the new larger pepper plants using the Florida Weave method &
Planting 157 pepper plants
✅ We recommend bringing a long-sleeved shirt so your arms don't get scratched up from carrying the hay mulch.
🥨Water & snacks provided!

We’re excited to partner with Oregon State University Extension - Malheur County to help grow, plant, and harvest fresh produce that will directly support local food pantries across our community! 🌱🥕

We’re currently seeking volunteers to help with this meaningful project, and we’d love to have you join us. Your time and support will make a real impact for neighbors facing food insecurity.

On May Day, our community showed up in powerful solidarity with our immigrant neighbors, and we are deeply grateful. ❤️

Thank you to the community members, volunteers, advocates, and partner organizations who stood together to celebrate the many cultures, contributions, and voices that make us stronger. Your presence sent a clear message: everyone deserves dignity, safety, belonging, and access to opportunity.

We are especially thankful to the organizations and leaders who helped organize, support, and amplify this important gathering. Moments like these remind us that community care is built through action, partnership, and showing up for one another.
