I see post around every now and then stating "$15.00 an hour Burger flipper thinks she should get paid more than a paramedic ."

In my opinion, if a person works hard all day to make a business owner rich, then that owner should reward such hard work and loyalty to the company. I myself could not expect a person to work hard for me, to help bring me riches, only to give that person scraps. A decent human being would not do that.

Second, why do people look down on a cook as if its the worse job ever, when they cook your food 2 or more times a week? (For those who eat take out) Ever thought that their might actually be people in the world who love to cook? Have a passion for cooking? Wishing they could be paid a livable wage for doing something they like?

Third..... Why in the world does a paramedic get paid less than $15.00 an hour? Why should a job that has a high risk, while at the same time life saving be paid $15.00 or less? One ride to the hospital can cost $2,500.00 or more per trip. If these guys do 5 of those a week on top of preserving life, and risking life at the same time; do you really think the employer cant afford a better wage?

All jobs should be respected, and rewarded accordingly. Comparing two different careers are pointless.. Greedy corporations have a right to be greedy, but employees have the right to not take it either. Employees also have the right to protest against a greedy corporation.

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon, not everyone has the opportunity to go to college, not everyone has been guided in the right direction. Life is different for us all, but working together and removing our differences is a good start.

If elected as Congressman of District 35, I will introduce a bill that protects parents against unfair child support practice.

If one parent receives child support, the other parent has a right to receipts. If a parent is not using child support money on the child, then a new hearing may be made to adjust child support amounts.

The paying parent, is responsible for the child's expenses, not the expense of the adult who is accepting child support. If the parent who is collecting child support from 3 or more persons, than a psychological evaluation should be made on this person as child support should only be used to provide for the child, and not seen as a possible career.

If the parent whom is accepting child support does not show proof that a child receives all child support, then child support may be reduced.

Percentages of child support should be adjusted properly and not make one parent work 40 hours + a week to only to not afford a living for himself / herself.

Also, I will created a "salt in the wound" clause that will prevent a parent from disclosing child support amounts to the public as it is a private financial situation. Slandering of the other parent should also be taken into account.

Mediation & mediators should be taken seriously and not get emotionally envolved with plaintiffs or defendants. Only facts should be used, and both parties should be held accountable when breaking mediation agreements. (not all court cases press these issues).

Cost of living should only be taken in account when issuing child support, not percentages of a pay check. A child does not need $1500.00 a month to live. Unless specified based on special medical needs.

We are in the age of equality, and each parent whom is capable of providing for the child (children) should do so.
