Nancy enjoyed a little pampering with a manicure and some quality time with the girls at Zen Nail Spa at Cambridge Square. There was plenty of conversation, laughter, and time to enjoy the beautiful weather together. ☀️😊

💛 Celebrating the residents who make our Lantern so special!

Our August Senior Appreciation Luncheon was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the residents who bring so much joy and connection to our community. Surrounded by family, friends, and the staff who care for them, our residents were reminded just how loved and appreciated they are. 🥰

They even helped choose the meal for the celebration, making the luncheon feel especially personal and truly their own. We loved seeing everyone come together, share a few laughs, and enjoy time with the people who mean so much to them.

Our residents have touched countless lives both within The Lantern and throughout the community, and it was an honor to celebrate the impact they continue to make. 💛

The Morning Pointe Foundation Mastering Memory Care Golf Tournament is happening on Sept. 14 at Lookout Mountain Club, bringing golfers together for a day of competition, connection, and giving back. 💚

Funds raised support caregiver education programs and scholarships for students pursuing nursing, culinary, social work, and therapy fields through partner schools across the Southeast.

Scripture scrapbooking is a special new craft at The Lantern, giving our residents a creative way to bring favorite Bible verses and words of encouragement to life. Each page reflects the verses that hold personal meaning for them, with thoughtful touches that make every creation unique. ✨

The sweetest part was hearing the stories behind the verses as residents shared why they chose them. It made for a beautiful time of creativity, reflection, and connection. ❤️

Our Morning Pointe Senior Living Business Office Directors came together this week in Ooltewah, TN, for their annual conference, with time to reconnect, share best practices, strengthen processes, and learn alongside colleagues who understand the many details their roles require.

These leaders help keep so much running smoothly within each community, supporting residents, families, associates, and fellow department leaders through the work they do every day.

💖 Remembering Dolly Parton

Today, the Morning Pointe family joins so many in remembering Dolly Parton and the extraordinary joy she brought to generations.

For many of our residents at Morning Pointe Senior Living, Dolly has simply always been there. For Morning Pointe of Hixson resident Konnie Kittrell, that connection is especially personal.

In fact, Konnie and her remarkable career were recently featured as the cover story of our latest Milestones magazine. She spent years leading costuming for Dollywood productions and helping bring Dolly’s creative visions to life. Konnie remembers Dolly as “warm, giggly, brilliant, and kind.”

Her story is a special reminder of the personal connections behind an extraordinary legacy. Across our communities, residents knew Dolly’s music, followed her career, and grew older alongside her.

With our Tennessee roots, we’ve always felt a special connection to Dolly, but the joy she brought reached far beyond any one state or generation.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, and the heart, Dolly. 🦋

Our residents have been busy getting The Lantern ready to welcome their families, creating beautiful floral arrangements to brighten the tables for our upcoming luncheon. 💐

Pat and Tom did a fantastic job putting together these lovely arrangements and helping make our space feel warm and welcoming for our guests. We’re so grateful for the time and care they put into making the day special! 💙
