The GOTV Strategy and Planning & Brainstorming session this evening was truly a productive and collaborative event. STAY TUNED as we continue to work as a unified force to improve our voter turnout across the county.

We are also happy to share that we had representatives from all across the county join us, Lee County, AL NAACP Branch 5038, in this 1st Planning Session to put in the work to transform the political landscape in our community. This was the GOAL - COLLABORATION… for no single organization can successfully fight voter disengagement and immobilization alone.

With that said, THANKS and A BIG SHOUT OUT to everyone who participated this evening - League of PFLAG Auburn Lee County Democratic Party - Alabama, the NAACP Student Chapter at Auburn University and many other individuals and organizations who are ALL IN and committed to GETTING OUT THE VOTE in our various communities.

THANKS and A BIG SHOUT OUT to League of Women Voters of East Alabama - LWVEA Indivisible Alabama Moms Demand Action - AL PFLAG Auburn Lee County Democratic Party - Alabama, Lee County Voters League & Youth Organization the NAACP Student Chapter at Auburn University and many other individuals and organizations who are ALL IN and who are committed to GETTING OUT THE VOTE in our various communities.

THIS STATEMENT RIGHT HERE says it all… whew…wow….

“The U.S. Supreme Court confirmed what I have said all along and that is that Alabama knows our state, our people and our districts best. Today’s decision is a win for the people of Alabama and our elections. Alabama is doing our part to keep America strong, and I am proud our state continues to fight the fight to ensure activists do not get the final say.”

When all was said and done….

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the state of Alabama will revert back to the 2023 congressional map for 2026 election cycle. There is now only one Majority - Minority in Alabama.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed Alabama to use a Republican-backed congressional map for the 2026 elections, overturning a lower court ruling that found the plan intentionally discriminated against Black voters. The map contains just one majority-Black district, replacing a court-ordered map used in 2024 that created two Black-opportunity districts and helped elect two Black Democrats. ⬇️

has always been both a declaration and a demand.

A declaration that LGBTQIA+ lives are worthy of joy, dignity, and respect. A demand that the systems around us rise to meet that truth.

This month, we celebrate the resilience of a community that has never stopped pushing for a more just world, and we recommit to that push alongside you.

Equity isn't a destination for some. It's a future we must build together, for everyone.
