Alabama Habitat for Humanity

Alabama Habitat for Humanity Affiliate Support Office for Habitat for Humanity affiliates throughout Alabama. This makes the home very affordable.

Affiliates serving over 40 counties in the state of Alabama, build and rehabilitate houses that are sold to qualified, low income families who purchase those houses with a 0% interest, 20-30 year mortgage. The families are required to put in up to 500 hours of "sweat equity" in building the homes. They work along side of community volunteers who build these homes in cooperation with church, corporate, business, government and individual sponsors.
