Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department The Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department, founded in May of 1978, is a 100% Volunteer ISO Class 5 fire department located in Lee County, Alabama.

Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department, founded in May of 1978, is a 100% Volunteer ISO Class 5 fire department located in Lee County, AL that provides fire rescue services to approx. 13,000 residents, and 123 square miles of unincorporated Lee County, AL The Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department is dispatched by the Lee County Sheriff's Office 911 Center and provides fire rescue services to approximately 13,000-16,000 residents, and 123 square miles of unincorporated Lee County, Alabama including the Beauregard and Marvyn Communities. Services to include, but are not limited to fire suppression, auto extrication, and first responder care are provided by use of five fire stations (locations listed below). The Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department fleet is comprised of five Class A Pumpers, three Tankers, three Brush Trucks, one Rescue Truck, one Utility Truck, and one Command Vehicle. The Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department is staffed 24/7 365 by 27 volunteer personnel, to include a Fire Chief, Deputy Chief and five Lieutenants, all who answer on average 1,100 calls for service annually. The Beauregard Volunteer Fire Department proudly serves the residents of "God's Country" with commitment, professionalism, and integrity. This afternoon BVFD was called into service to assist Dixie Volunteer Fire Department alongside Uchee Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Crawford Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Alabama Forestry Commission & Dixie Volunteer Fire Department with a large brush fire. Upon arrival, approximately 9 acres was actively burning and numerous structures were in danger. BVFD personnel proceeded to work on fire extinguishing, using over 150gal of water. BVFD remained on scene for about 2 hrs and responded with 3 apparatus and 4 personnel

Late Sunday evening into early Monday morning BVFD alongside Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Southwest Lee County Fire Department, Lee County Sheriff's Office Alabama & Lee County, Alabama Emergency Management Agency were called to a report of an attic fire. Upon arrival, smoke was visible from outside the structure, Hoseline was deployed and personnel from all 3 fire departments initiated an attack from both the interior and the roof. The fire was extinguished in approximately 3 hours. BVFD responded with 6 personnel and 4 apparatus!

Last night (10-16) BVFD was dispatched auto aid for a structure fire. BVFD along with Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue , Crawford Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. and the Lee County Sheriff's Office Alabama responded. The structure sustained minor damage, with no reported injuries. BVFD responded with 3 apparatus and five personnel.
