In Coach Lake’s Robotics class, students are putting their engineering skills to work through a hands-on civil engineering challenge! Students are designing and constructing bridges while applying creativity, problem-solving, and engineering principles.

📐 Limits in Action!

Seniors in Dual Enrollment Calculus took learning beyond the textbook today! Through a hands-on, collaborative activity, students worked together to define limits and use limit notation while putting their mathematical thinking into action.

Our band did an AMAZING job representing Beauregard at Opelika High School's Band-O-Rama! We are marching 90 students this year (including auxiliary), and you would never guess by the way that they sounded last night that roughly one third of them are rookies! We are beyond proud of our students and all of the compliments they received last night. GO BAND! 💙💛

🏅 Mini Metric Olympics! 🏅

Mrs. Brown’s physics students put their measurement skills to the test during the Mini Metric Olympics! Students estimated and measured distances in events inspired by the javelin, shot put, and more—all while reviewing metric quantities and practicing precision in measurement.

Teams competed, collaborated, and had a little fun along the way! 🏆

The Lady Hornets competed in the 2026 Mary J Riley Tournament hosted by Central High School. The lady Hornets went 4-0 and didn’t drop a single set on there way to becoming tournament champions! They defeated Jordan out of Columbus, Ga, Lamp, Central, and Russell County. Go Hornets!!

Reading. Thinking. Creating.

Today, Auburn University professors and College of Education students partnered with BHS students as they explored Long Way Down through a powerful Stop & Start strategy.

Students and college mentors analyzed the text through art, discussion, and collaboration—sharing ideas, making connections, and digging deeper into the story.

And let us tell you…our Hornets had some brilliant things to say! 🐝💙💛
